Mike Cafe, nestled along Archbishop Makarios Rd in Mombasa, is a delightful spot that captures the essence of local cuisine. As a food reviewer of Goto Where, it's refreshing to discover such a humble yet vibrant cafe. Customers rave about its ample seating and convenient parking, making it an ideal stop for both quick bites and leisurely meals.
The star of the show is undoubtedly the famous Mombasa Mix, praised by many as a culinary must-try, especially when paired with their piping hot tea. Purav V highlights the "tasty pack potatoes," which are a crowd favorite, alongside the delectable mutton kebabs that Murtaza Badri can't stop talking about. The simple menu does not detract from the quality; rather, it keeps the focus on what they do best. Latif Bhegani and Divyanshu Panchal both emphasize the wallet-friendly prices, proving that great taste doesn't have to break the bank.
However, a note of caution comes from Amir Nanji, who experienced a billing mishap. Overall, Mike Cafe shines with its authentic flavors, inviting atmosphere, and friendly service, making it a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in the culinary treasures of Mombasa.

A really nice joint just off the road in the Ganjoni area. There is ample place to sit as well as enought parking space. I'd say it's one of the best places to have the famous Mombasa Mix and some really tasty pack potatoes, as they are called. The best time would to to have the mix in the morning time together with some piping hot tea.
It’s the Patio of a House but the Food is Excellent and very reasonable price. Mombasa Mix and Kebab are my favorites
The mutton kebabs are to die for! Simple approach, few items on their menu, all of them on point! Loved the Mastaferi juice. Enough tables to seat and enjoy the quick bites. Parking available.
This place is in an open area of the mall corridor. Food is good and tasty. Be careful when you have to pay. I realized that I was over charged, but it was too late to complain.
Absolutely great taste at truly pocket friendly prices … the dal bhajia & pack potatoes are the best along with the coconut chutney. Must visit place for the Mombasa mix !
The pack potatoes were excellent. Bajias and kababs were very nice. Chana bateta mix was the best we have had in mombasa.
The best things about this place is the food but service should improve
The food was delicious. The fans were switched on so wasn't too hot. Food came fairly quickly so service was good, we went at a busy time, lunch time so it was packed, but for a small place like that they have ample seating.... They catered for our group of 7, they joined 2 tables for us.... there was parking outside, it was on ground floor so wheelchair accessible. We ordered Channa, samosa, kebab, and it came with fresh coconut chutney, red chilli chutney, PC's of lemon. It's not a very toddler friendly place, but for older kids is alright, the food, my one child found it a bit spicy, but the other was okay with the little spice. The Maru bhajias that someone else ordered looked soo tempting... The kebabs were fresh, hot crispy, the samosas were so as crispy, but taste was good.... Over all the food was really good, and would definitely go again.
